UniBond Premier League Marine Football Club have announced the staging of its tenth annual celebrity golf day at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa on Monday 6th September 2010.
The tournament has proved a huge success in the past and has continued to be supported by over 20 corporate teams in addition to celebrity teams captained by Club patron Kenny Dalglish.
Entry to the tournament is £425 per team of four.
The tournament is managed by Marine Vice President Brian Verinder and commences with a shotgun start before lunch and finishes about 6pm followed by dinner and presentation of the awards to the tournament winners. Marine Chairman Paul Leary said, “This is a very special day this year as it is our 10th competition since our former manager Roly Howard and Kenny Dalglish came up with idea to help raise funds for Marine Football Club and the celebrity golf day at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa has grown to become the main fundraising event for our Club. Kenny’s support to this event over the years has been tremendous and I thank him and his fellow celebrities for the support and time that they give to help Marine Football Club.”
